Cristina Gomez is an experienced research and development advisor, with background on electronic engineering, with a demonstrated history in innovation in the power system industry.
For more than 15 years she has been managing R&D projects in the field of storage, demand side response, digital substations, monitoring the network and asset maintenance within Red Electrica de Espana, the Spanish Transmission System Operator.
Passionate about innovation, now she embraces the challenge of fostering the European innovation as a member of the innovation team of ENTSO-E, where she takes active part in the development of the long-term Research and Innovation plans. She is also supporting the Working Groups of digitalization and flexibility.
Currently, she is co-chair of ETIP-SNET WG2: Storage technologies and sector interfaces.
