The project, co-funded by the European Commission Horizon 2020 Programme, is exploring new ways to use various forms of flexibilities in the aim of optimizing the electric power system, in particular at the distribution level. 20 partners from 6 European countries are engaged in the project from 2017 to 2019, globally coordinated by Enedis. The replicability of the developed solutions and the identification of relevant business models constitute major objectives of the project. The project focusses on 6 innovations streams: Demand-response, Cross Energy Carrier Synergies, Electric Vehicle charging, Energy Storage, Islanding and Grid Automation.
